On Thursday evening, October 1, the University of Maryland’s A. James Clark School of Engineering launched the Idea Factory in the Kim Engineering Building Rotunda. Mtech is becoming the Idea Factory, and the line on the screen said what it’s for: “Where Ideas Get Built.”

Dominic Liriano, Dom to all of us, spoke as the student representing xFoundry, to an audience of alumni and potential investors.

He talked about his path through xFoundry, from the very start to now, about NoTestudo, and about what he’s learned along the way.

If you’re meeting us for the first time: NoTestudo is a habit app built on one idea, that your goals are made of places. We’re building it in xFoundry’s Mental Health Xperience (opens in a new tab), we’re in Phase 3 (the campus pilot), and in September we won the MHX Oura Ring Challenge for our campus ring study.

Dom leads research and outreach for NoTestudo. You can find him on LinkedIn (opens in a new tab).

Congratulations to the Clark School on the launch, and thank you to xFoundry for having Dom represent the program.

The NoTestudo app

Less tracking. More living.

The habit app that tracks itself. Say your goals once, then live your week: the visits, the hours and the dollars you kept add up on their own.

NoTestudo is invite-only right now. Ask someone on campus for an invite, or join the waitlist for the App Store release.
