We’re narb, a small, student-founded team at UMD building tools that help people see their own patterns, one visit at a time.

We’re a small, student-founded team at the University of Maryland. We build the app, run the campus pilot and answer support ourselves, with a lot of help from a turtle.

NoTestudo is built on one idea: your goals are made of places. The gym you mean to get to, the library, the drive-thru you keep ending up at.
The product’s first job is to make your own pattern easier to see. We don’t claim it changes behavior. We claim it can help you see the pattern clearly enough to decide what to change.
People can name the place. They can’t see the pattern. Come help us build the mirror that shows it.
These are the rules we build by. We wrote them down as non-negotiable, so they decide what ships and how the app talks to you, even when a shortcut would be easier.
No grades, no shaming, no points and no “failed”. NoTestudo says what happened plainly, congratulates first and never compares you with anyone else.
Only real stays count, and we’re honest about what a visit can show: NoTestudo can’t see studying itself, but it can notice time at McKeldin Library.
A day we couldn’t see is unknown, not a zero. Pending weeks show as pending, and the app never fills a gap with a number it hasn’t settled.
You control what’s tracked, who sees it and when. Health-care places stay private, money saved is never shared and your data is never sold.
In the app you pick the turtle’s tone, Playful or Gentle. When you show up, it says so.
Proud of you for being here.
Big turtle energy.
Back on your way. That’s what counts.
NoTestudo is invite-only right now. Ask someone on campus for an invite, or join the waitlist for the App Store release.
