Our roommate group, one month in
A month ago the three of us made a group to stop the vape shop runs. One month in, all three of us are still on track, which none of us expected.
The “walk?” text has been sent eleven times. Every single time, someone said yes.

Me and my two roommates all wanted to stop the vape shop runs, so we made a group. We see each other’s streaks, nothing else. When one of us has a rough day, the other two just text “walk?” and we go around the block. It’s become our thing.
VapingThree weeks without a vape shop stop
Three weeks with zero vape shop visits. The first week I walked past it every day and it was the hardest part of my day. Now I walk on the other side of the street, which sounds silly, but it’s working for me.
VapingEight weeks in, and the money surprised me
Eight weeks with no vape shop visits. Every week I recorded what I would normally have spent, and seeing it add up is kind of wild. I’m putting it toward a trip in the spring.
