Club fair
On the Map · Campus
From TerpLink, UMD’s event calendar.
Club fairs bring student groups together in one spot, usually early in the semester. You can walk the rows, meet a few people and leave with a list of meetings to try.
On the Map, a fair shows up as an event pin at its venue, alongside the places tied to your goals. Mark it Going or Maybe and it lands in My Plans, where only you can see it.

The app is invite-only for now: ask someone on campus for an invite, or join the waitlist.
How it can count toward a goal
- Events don’t count by themselves. Places do: if the fair’s venue is one of your goal’s places, the visit counts on its own.
- A goal like Feel more connected is made of places you want to visit more. A fair at one of them counts like any other visit.
- Walking the rows for a few minutes is plenty. Stays under 3 minutes look like passing by and don’t count.
- NoTestudo notices when you arrive and when you leave. There’s nothing to check in.

Group meetups are different: when a group plans a meetup, your RSVP is shared with the host and counted with other members’ answers.
TerpLink manages campus events, so reports go to them. Open the event on TerpLink and use its report option.
