My Halloween costume cost $12
Last year I spent $70 on a costume I wore once. This year: a thrift store sweater, a headband with cardboard ears and face paint I already had. $12.

My cousins planned another casino night for tonight. Same deal as last time: I came for dinner, then took the bus home when they drove to the casino. Nobody made it weird. My cousin even asked if I wanted to do just dinner more often. Yes. Obviously.
